No download does not mean every feature is free
Basic random video chat is available alongside optional paid plans and coin features. Filters, skips, guest access, and other benefits can have limits. Review the current Pricing page before purchasing a plan or spending coins; do not assume a filter guarantees an available match.
If the camera permission prompt does not appear
Open the site permissions in your browser and check that camera and microphone access are allowed for StrangerLive. Check the device settings too. Close apps that may be using the camera, then reload the page. A work or school device may restrict camera use; ask its administrator instead of bypassing the restriction.
On a phone or a slow connection
Keep the chat tab in the foreground and avoid switching apps during a call. Try a stable Wi-Fi connection and pause large downloads. If video repeatedly freezes, stop the call, check your connection, and retry. Video quality depends on both participants and their devices.
Keep control of the conversation
You do not owe a stranger your name, location, social account, or another call. Leave and report inappropriate behavior. Moderation can miss harmful content, and another participant could record their screen. Share only what you are comfortable making visible.
