Third-party Services & External Media

Some features connect your browser or our servers to service providers. Loading an external service can share your IP address, device information, and information needed for that feature.

Google sign-in and optional analytics

Choosing Google sign-in loads Google Identity Services to authenticate your account. Google Analytics is separate and loads only if you allow optional analytics. Rejecting analytics does not prevent email sign-in or chat. Google privacy information: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Payments

Cashfree checkout loads when you request a purchase. The provider processes payment credentials and payment-related information under its own policies. StrangerLive receives transaction and delivery information needed to fulfill and reconcile the order. Cashfree privacy information: https://www.cashfree.com/privacypolicy/

Live calls and network services

The configured call path may use WebRTC/STUN/TURN relays or integrated providers such as LiveKit, Agora, Daily, or Zego. Providers can receive signaling, connection details, and media needed for that path. Direct peer connections can disclose network information to the other participant. Do not assume all providers use the same privacy, retention, or encryption model.

YouTube watch parties

External players remain blocked until you choose Load YouTube player. A video shared by another participant does not automatically authorize loading it. YouTube privacy-enhanced mode can still send information when the player loads. Closing the watch-party panel resets the local permission. Only share videos you are authorized to share; embedding does not transfer ownership or grant a right to copy or rebroadcast the work.

Other operational providers

Hosting, database, email delivery, push notifications, and security services process data needed to operate those features. Profile images supplied by users or identity providers may be fetched from their image hosts. Their owners and providers retain their rights. Browser permissions for camera, microphone, and notifications are separate from optional analytics choices.

Contact & Grievance Redressal

Use the Contact form for account, billing, privacy, copyright, or safety complaints. Keep your ticket reference to track replies. Never send payment credentials, passwords, or one-time codes.

Billing, cancellation, and refund support · Privacy, safety, and other grievances

  1. Choose the relevant support category and describe the issue. For a grievance, begin the subject with “Grievance” and identify any affected account, content, or transaction.
  2. Provide a contact email and only the details needed to investigate. For urgent safety concerns, also use the in-call reporting controls and leave the call.
  3. Save your ticket reference and access token. Use Track Support Ticket on Contact to read replies and follow up on an unresolved complaint.
